Memories

Really unsure why these are posting like this...but I can't seem to fix it. So, we'll roll with it. These pictures are some of my favorites that other people took, so they were lingering out of folders all by themselves. But all of these represent some really special memories to me, so I wanted to post them anyway, even though they are all out of order.

The two football ones are of Alex and Andy. Andy coached Alex's flag football team for four seasons in Virginia Beach with Aaron Wettstein. They took the championship EVERY season!

The photo of Andy and I sitting on the beach is my favorite because we got to take a trip to the beautiful Outer Banks, in N.C. with some friends of ours over Spring Break.

The pictures of Anika with us and the kids were from her second trip out to Virginia Beach to see us. The times when family came to see us when we lived out there are some of my most favorite memories of all time. There was something so magical about exploring our new surroundings with people we love. :)

All of the beach pictures are times when various family members came to see us. There was the time Seth and Nikki came in October for Halloween and they were there to witness Hurricane Sandy. They ended up not being able to stay in their beach house. We had 12 people all living in our 1900 square foot rental. It turned out to be SO STINKING FUN! Notice the picture of Aaron and Lilee standing in the ocean. Little did we know, due to me not listening to the news, that the hurricane was on its way in at that very moment!!! (yikes). Then there was the time that Mom and Mandy were able to come for a short weekend trip. They came right after we moved into our new house and it was a nasty dump! Good laughs were had about it! Then there was the time that Nana came out for the Fourth of July and we got to watch fireworks over the ocean. It was the MOST AMAZING firework show I have ever seen! We had such a great time.

Then there is Aaron who is so fun and so silly while he wears Anika's shower cap.

Lastly, there is Aaron and Ashten getting a slushie with Aunt Anika on her very first trip to Virginia Beach.
