The Wright family has been so very blessed this year. We made our first move (out of state) ever and have grown so much as a family. We have been forced out of our comfort zones and have matured so much! I know that the Lord wanted this for us. ...to be on our own, relying on each other and our new ward family. The ward has been very good to us and we have made some really good friends. No matter how long we stay in Virginia (who knows what the Lord has planned!!!), I will always be grateful for this time to venture out and find our wings!
Cousins reunited after almost a year! They felt a little awkward towards each other for a few minutes...but then it was like we had never left.
It rained the entire day of the Block Party. But, magically when it came time for the party...the rain stopped! We had a great time seeing neighbors and friends. Although, it was sad to be standing practically in our front yard of "not our front yard." I wanted to go inside our house that we're renting out so bad! ...just to feel "HOME".
Oh my goodness, I LOVE these boys...especially together!
Ashten still wanted nothing to do with Santa. But at least we have three kids that will sit on is lap now!

Grandma Jean allowed us to stay in her home (she lives in an assisted living place now) while we were there for free. It was SUCH a blessing for an already expensive trip! The kids had a FABULOUS time playing with the bubbles in her huge garden tub!
My family came and decorated Grandmas house for us before we flew in. Tears came to my eyes as we walked in, late at night, exhausted from the flight and found all this. FAMILY ROCKS!

Fizzywigs (a candy shop) was one of the MUST DO's while at the mall, also for Old Time's Sake!

Ashten was SO excited! We found this rental stroller abandoned at the mall and he finally got to do more than just climb all over it. He got to ride it all through the mall. ...A dream come true!

The temple lights. We went to Organ Stop Pizza beforehand with family. Then we lost them and couldn't find them anywhere at the temple. Oh well, we still enjoyed being there.

We did our yearly tradition of decorating sugar cookies at Mandy's house. It was weird not to host it this year. But, nice not to have to be sweeping up sprinkles for the next month!
