Eight is great!

Our "Bugs" turned eight back in February! He is such a sweet, kind hearted boy. He is Ashten's absolute favorite. (Even though he shouldn't have favorites  ;) Aiden is usually willing to play with him and do anything he wants. Aiden can frequently be found using the broom or his hand to make tracks outside in the dirt for Ash and his monster trucks. He is still our peace maker. While this is SO NEEDED in our home of crazy boys, I worry about him a lot because I feel like he sacrifices whatever he wants to make someone else happy. He rarely does what would make him happy. He is such a good friend to others. He has really picked up on all of Alex's video games and enjoys them as well. This is good and bad... Alex and Aiden frequently discuss different aspects of Minecraft and enjoy bouncing ideas off of each other. However, it becomes war over whose turn it is to play and when. Timers are my best friend right now! He is a great student, but dislikes homework VERY much. He remains our best scripture listener and surprises us with his understanding of the gospel. He can be very shy at times, but crazy out-going at other times. He is first an observer. He still loves learning about all things reptile and ocean.

Aiden wanted a Minecraft "creeper" cake. We let him pick a few friends to party with at Chuck E. Cheese. He chose to get baptized on his actual birthday and wait to have his party until the following Saturday. What a good, good boy!
After his baptism, he wanted to celebrate his birthday by going to see the Lego movie.

All ready to go to scouts for the first time!
