Ashten had remembered going strawberry picking the year before this and had begged and begged to go again. One day, I just thought, "we need to drop everything today and go strawberry picking." And so we DID! The two of us had a fabulous time without time restraints and others to worry about. It was so WONDERFUL to be with just my baby.

Alex was one of only 15 6th graders (out of 200) who received the Principal's List Honor Roll for the entire school year. He also scored extremely high on his SOL testing. In science he received a perfect score! This pin was given to the kids who scored high in all testing areas.
