We visited a Navel museum called Nauticus. It was actually my favorite place of the week! We all had so much fun! They have lots of interactive stations and even some aquariums. Then outside sits Nauticus, a HUGE ship that used to be used by the Navy. We got to walk out on the deck and explore the inside. I would definitely go back.
Alex got such a kick out of this typewriter. He could NOT believe that I learned how to type on one of these in high school. He looked at me like I was just ancient! HA!
This was a practice part of a ship. They wanted to know how many layers a missil could go through. Apparently ALL these layers were not even close to enough!
One of the kids' favorite parts of the museum was this boat racing table. They could move around the "dam" pieces to make the water and boats flow differently.
Alex got to be in a Hurricane simulator and feel winds up to 80 miles an hour! He loved it and wished he could do it again!

We visited a pet shop after we left the museum. Aunt Anika was the bird lady! They just flocked to sit on her arm!
