Cabin trips. There is nothing more special to us. It is a time for family. Only family. No electronics, no other responsibilities. Just total "disconnect" time from the outside world. AND. WE. LOVE. IT!
Lots of hammock time is a necessity.
Fishing is a necessity.
Using all the old games and coloring books that have been there since the 80's is a necessity.
Alex was teaching me how to shoot his guns. Let's just say, I'm not very accurate.
All Alex wanted to do this trip was shoot his guns.
Battleship time!
Watching fireworks at "The Point".
This wall is so special. It has the names by the height of all the people who have visited the cabin since the 50's, when it was built. Every year we love to find our kids' names and see how much they've grown.
The Point.
The kids love to catch horny toads.
Aaron loves to find sticks to show of his karate skills.
Games with Oma and Opa are the BEST!
We also love to visit the fish hatchery.
We got to have a tour of the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory in Durango.
Playing in the mud by the lake is also a MUST.
