Decorating the Christmas tree, in summer clothes. The kids were only interested in decorating long enough to dump all the ornaments out and throw them everywhere. I did the rest. *sigh* :)

Nana did the "12 Days of Christmas for the kids. They had so much fun opening a gift everyday. In fact, they bugged me so much about the gifts (she dropped them off in one large delivery with daily labels) that I finally let them open them all a couple days before Christmas.
ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY

Aaron's crazy hat hair!

Aaron refused to sit on Santa's lap. He was screaming and crying at this point.

Aiden with Santa.

Alex with Santa. Notice the shorts...EYE-YIE-YIE...I can never convince my children that winter is a time for shoes and PANTS and COATS.

Cousin Keaton with Aiden

Lilee, Keaton, Aiden and Aaron waiting for their turn to see Santa.

Roasting marshmallows for s'mores. MMMmmmmm.

The Polar Bear Brothers Club...no shoes or coats allowed!

ANNUAL HOLIDAY HOUSE DECORATING WITH THE BLACKS

Idea: Rice Krispie treat houses are WAY easier for the kids to decorate than gingerbread ones.

We also made gingerbread cookies.

Aiden's finshed product = Less is More

Alex's finished product = More is definitely MORE :)

This is Aaron's *cheese* face now. He refuses to open his eyes!

Decorating...

Aiden and Ryan. You can't see from the picture...but Ryan is my kind of guy, he PILED on the chocolate chips right after! :)

Crystal worked the frosting "gun"!

Aaron opening up a gift from Secret Santa.

Aaron is definitely a third child. The minute he would open a gift, he'd take off running with it and hide so the other two couldn't take it from him!!! Love it! He has learned a little something called Survival of the FITTEST!

The new trampoline that Oma and Opa got for the kids for Christmas.

Aaron has a recent thing for shoes. These are Alex's. On Christmas Eve Lilee got some princess dress-up shoes and he was making her so mad by taking off with them...on his feet!
