California Vacation

We had a great time in California last week! Legoland was a good "speed" for the ages of our kids. Aiden is DEFINITELY NOT a thrill seeker! He likes his toes safely on the ground. And little Aaron would have LOVED to get on the bigger rides...but wasn't quite tall enough yet. Next time, Aaron! :)

Batman made all of Legos. Aaron thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Legoland has an XBOX room full of all the various Lego games. Alex was beside himself with excitement because they had the new Lego Harry Potter game.

Mommy barely fit into the helicopter! I am a large woman, this baby needs to come! This was one of two rides that I was allowed to ride on.

Aaron was so bummed that he wasn't old enough to actually drive the cars. But, at least he got to sit in one!

BEACH TIME

Andy borrowed a boogie board and had a grand time playing with it.

Alex enjoyed his time with the boogie board as well.

Aaron was not a fan of the beach. It was a cool, overcast day and he spent most of his time sitting in the lawn chair wrapped in a towel. I just had to take a picture of his face. Any time Andy would swim out in the ocean a bit, Aaron would wail about him being eaten by sharks. Perhaps the Wright family has learned a bit too much about sharks this past year, as it is Aiden's favorite subject to talk/learn about. Aaron is such a daddy's boy!

Aiden enjoyed the water some, but he was just PLAIN excited about digging in the sand.

AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC

We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. It was a pretty neat place. Alex looks grumpy because he did not want to be taking pictures. He wanted to go to the gift shop and spend the money that was burning a whole in his pocket. It's all he could talk about!

Aiden, on the other hand, was in hog heaven. He is our ocean guy, so this trip was mostly for him. He says that he is going to work for Sea World some day and I believe it!

We had a wonderful, eventful summer. But we are ready to get back to our "routines"! We hope you had a great summer as well!
