Sand In Our Pants

Baby feet in the sand = priceless.

Aaron is still afraid of sharks. We watched Soul Surfer as a family right before this trip. Brilliant, mom...absolutely brilliant. Aaron was beached the entire day we spent at the ocean. He didn't even want to dip his toes in the water.

When in doubt, just EAT it.

The kids dug a huge hole in the sand, then the tide came in and filled it. Aaron was so excited to have his own little "bath" as he called it. Finally the his feet got wet because "sharks can't live in the bath."

FIVE boys, you say???!!! No, it's not your mind playing tricks on you. This Russian mom and kid permanently attached themselves to us the entire day. I have no idea why. We couldn't take one photo without this kid jumping in the picture. He ate our food, he drank our drinks, he fought over toys the kids had. His mom never saw a problem with any of it. Weird. Just plain weird.

Looking a bit tired from the beach, but HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY ALEX! Here is his special "cotten candy red velvet" cupcake from one of those speciality cupcake shops.

The kids entertained themselves in the hotel room by piling up all the blankets into one corner and jumping onto them. Yes, Aiden is holding the infamous "yellow angry bird" prior to it's falling into the toilet.

What a GREAT day at the beach!
